Future workshop and Dragon Dreaming

The future workshop serves to sketch the future in various scenarios. The aim is for the group to find a solution together.

Organisation

  • Duration
    Long (more than 1 hour)
  • Complexity
    Simple
  • Group size
    5 to 12 persons

Description Long

The future workshop is similar to the scenario testing, where finished pictures of the future are created. It provides points that need to be discussed in detail. For example, it is assumed that a specific innovation has established itself. This enables the participants to discuss the various effects on those involved.

The Dragon Dreaming Method follows a similar approach. Mutual, sustainable and visionary ideas are developed. Dreams are formulated, and tested for planning and realisation. This method is suitable for projects, companies, and individuals.

Preparation

The success of this method is determined by good preparation on the part of the moderator. It should be planned specifically, to suit to the target group.
