The aim is to capture the prior knowledge of each person involved and make an inventory of all available resources, or those to be developed. Furthermore, one should detach oneself from existing ideas and open the mind to new concepts.
DurationShort (up to 30 minutes)
Group size1 to 100 persons
This activity is not suitable online.
Uploading is as essential as clarifying the assignment.
Ensure that all participants distance themselves from prior knowledge and ideas that might block the stimulation of new ideas. This also serves to reassure the participants with regard to their skills, their past experiences including existing resources and their ‘egos’.
Utilise a separate poster for this, during the first session, and put it where it is easily accessible to everyone who wants to consult it, to add to it, and above all to use it.
The digitisation of the poster permits convenient use of it during pater phases, for example, during the turning point.
Prepare room and material.
Depending on the group, letting go of prior knowledge and ideas, in order to open up your mind for unique experiences, is not easy.
